SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS
What personal information do we process?
When you visit, use, or navigate the Services, we process personal information depending on how you interact with us and the features you use. In plain terms:
- Contractors: name, address, email, phone number, message logs, IP address, and device information.
- Customers: name, address, email, phone number, message logs, IP address, and device information.
We also generate limited technical/usage data (e.g., logs) to keep the Services secure and reliable. We do not store payment card data or tax IDs in our systems—Stripe handles those directly. See Section 1.
Do we process any sensitive personal information?
We do not collect “sensitive personal information” as that term is defined by certain U.S. state laws (e.g., Social Security or government ID numbers; full financial account numbers with access codes; precise geolocation; health, biometric, or similar data). Stripe processes payment information on our behalf, and Auth0 provides authentication—we do not store your payment card numbers or passwords. If you choose to include sensitive details in free‑form messages, we handle them as described in this notice. See Sections 1 and 6.
Do we receive any information from third parties?
Yes. We work with service providers such as AWS (hosting/security), Stripe (payments), Auth0 (login/authentication), Twilio/AWS messaging (SMS/email delivery), DataDog (monitoring/analytics), and a help‑desk tool (to be named) embedded in the app. See Section 3.
How do we process your information?
We use information to provide and improve the Services, communicate about quotes/jobs/invoices, maintain security and prevent fraud, comply with law, and—where permitted—improve features through analytics. We process information only when we have a valid legal basis (e.g., contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or consent). See Section 2.
In what situations and with which types of parties do we share personal information?
We share information with service providers (hosting, authentication, messaging, payments, analytics, support), professional advisors, as required by law, in connection with a business transfer, and with your direction/consent. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising. See Section 3.
How do we keep your information safe?
We use organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the data and our Services (for example, encryption in transit and at rest, role‑based access with audit logging, and vendor due diligence). No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information. See Section 6.
How long do we keep information?
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law, then delete or de‑identify it. In general, we keep core job and account records ~6 years, tax/payout records 7 years (handled by Stripe), communications logs ~24 months, and technical telemetry ~12 months. See Section 5.
What are your rights?
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, receive a portable copy, or opt out of certain processing. Canadian residents also have access/correction rights and should know their data will be processed in the United States. To exercise rights, contact us (see Section 13) and we will respond within applicable timelines. See Sections 8 and 10.

Information automatically collected
In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, approximate location (derived from IP address), information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.
The information we collect includes:
- Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called “crash dumps”), and hardware settings).

- Location Data. Approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location. You can manage your browser or device settings to control the sharing of location-related signals. We will update this information when we launch a new version that allows us to collect your location data.
Information collected from other sources
In Short: We may collect limited data from public databases, service providers and partners, and other outside sources.
To enhance our ability to provide the Services and keep our records up to date, we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, service providers, or partners. This information may include mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, and similar data. We do not use this information for cross‑context behavioral advertising.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
- To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts. We may process your information so you can create and log in to your account (authentication is provided by our vendor), as well as keep your account in working order.
- To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user. We may process your information to provide you with the requested service.
- To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may process your information to respond to your questions and solve any potential issues you might have with the requested service.

- To fulfill and manage quotes, jobs, and payments. We may process your information to fulfill and manage quotes, job scheduling/completion, and payment status. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers or security codes; our payment processor handles those directly.
- To enable contractor-to-customer communications. We may process your information to facilitate communications related to quotes, scheduling, job updates, invoices, and receipts (for example, via SMS/email and secure links).
- To request feedback. We may process your information when necessary to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Services.
- To send marketing and promotional communications (only with your preferences/consent). We may process the personal information you provide for our marketing purposes in line with your preferences. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time, and any promotional SMS will be sent only with your separate opt-in and can be stopped by replying STOP (we may still send transactional messages needed to operate the Services).
- To protect our Services. We may process your information as part of our efforts to keep our Services safe and secure, including fraud monitoring and prevention.
- To evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience. We may process your information when we believe it is necessary to identify usage trends, determine the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and to evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience.
- To determine the effectiveness of our communications and outreach. We may process your information to understand how to provide notices and communications that are most relevant to you.
- To communicate via SMS and email. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS communications related to quotes, scheduling, and service updates. Promotional SMS, if offered later, will require separate opt-in.

3. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
In Short: We may share information in specific situations described in this section and/or with the following categories of third parties.
Vendors, Consultants, and Other Third-Party Service Providers. We disclose personal information to service providers under written contracts that require them to use the information only to provide services to us and to follow applicable privacy and security obligations (e.g., CCPA/CPRA and other U.S. state privacy laws).
We may use your personal information for our own business purposes, such as for undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration. This is not considered to be “selling” of your personal information.
Contractors (as part of the Service). When you interact with a contractor through the Services (for example, to receive a quote, scheduling updates, or an invoice), we share the customer information necessary for that contractor to perform the requested work (e.g., name, service address, contact details, and job details). Contractors are independent businesses and may have their own privacy practices for information they collect outside the Services.
Business Partners. We may share contractor information with business partners (such as distributors and manufacturers in our network) for job and material reporting purposes. Where feasible, we use aggregated or de-identified information. If identifiable information is shared, partners are contractually limited to using it for those reporting purposes and not for their own unrelated marketing to customers.
No “selling” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. We have not sold personal information and have not “shared” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding twelve (12) months. If this ever changes, we will update this notice and provide a “Your Privacy Choices” link to exercise applicable opt-out rights.
Categories of personal information disclosed for a business purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months:
- Category A. Identifiers, such as contact details like your real name, alias, postal address, telephone or mobile contact number, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, and account name.

- Legal Requirements. To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
Vital Interests and Legal Rights. We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
Maps/Navigation. If we later offer location-based features, we may use a maps provider to deliver directions; your use of those tools is also governed by the provider’s privacy policy.
4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
In Short: We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Notice.
5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

- Account & profile data (contractors and customers): 6 years after account closure or last activity (aligned to common contract limitation periods).
- Quotes, job records, invoices, and receipts: 6 years after job completion or last activity.

- Communications (SMS/email logs and related content needed to evidence notices/consent): 24 months, then delete or de-identify.
- Security/usage logs and device/IP telemetry: 12 months, then delete or de-identify.
- Support tickets: 3 years after ticket closure.
- Backups: retained only for disaster-recovery on a rolling ~90-day basis and not used for routine processing.
Deletion or anonymization. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or de-identify it. If immediate deletion is not feasible (for example, because the data is stored in disaster-recovery backups), we will isolate that data from any further processing and delete it once the backup cycle expires. We run periodic deletion/anonymization processes at least annually.
6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
Platform support access is role-based and disabled by default; it can be enabled on a per-organization basis to assist with troubleshooting, and all access is logged.
Some notices are delivered via secure links. While access is limited by job status, forwarded links may still be viewable by others; please do not share links beyond intended recipients.
7. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at privacy@supplyloopllc.com OR privacy@getsealpoint.com.
8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.
Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section “HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?”
However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
Opting out of marketing and promotional communications: You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send, or by contacting us using the details provided in the section “HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?” You will then be removed from the marketing lists. However, we may still communicate with you — for example, to send you service-related messages that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes.
Account Information
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:
- Log in to your account settings and update your user account.
- Contact us using the contact information provided.
Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.
Cookies and similar technologies: Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our Services.
9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL (GPC)
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). While we do not sell personal information or “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising at this time, if we engage in processing that qualifies as a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, we will treat a valid GPC signal from your browser or device as an opt-out request for that processing. For additional choices and state-specific rights, see Section 10 (U.S. State Privacy Rights).
10. US State Privacy Rights (including California & Virginia)
In Short: Depending on your state of residence (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Those may include the right to access, delete, correct, receive a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to appeal our decision on your request.
Depending on your state of residence and our business activity in that state, you may have some or all of the following rights: access (know), deletion, correction, portability, opt out of targeted advertising, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as well as a right to appeal our decision on your request.
We do not sell personal information and do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this ever changes, we will (i) provide a “Your Privacy Choices” link, and (ii) honor a valid GPC signal as an opt-out where required (see also Section 9).
Submit a request using the contact methods in Section 13. We will verify your request (for example, by matching certain information you provide with information we maintain) and respond within the timelines required by applicable law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by following the instructions in our response. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request, subject to verification and proof of authorization.
Where applicable (depending on your state of residence), you may submit up to two requests in a 12-month period free of charge; additional requests may be permitted or limited as allowed by law.
California (summary)
In Short: If and when the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) applies to us, California residents may exercise the state rights described in this Section 10. We do not sell personal information or “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising; if that changes, we’ll provide a “Your Privacy Choices” link and honor a valid GPC signal.
- Notice at collection. The categories of personal information we collect and the purposes are described in Section 1 (What we collect) and Section 2 (How we process).
- Opt-out of sale/share. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will provide a “Your Privacy Choices” link and honor a valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out.
- Sensitive personal information. We do not process sensitive personal information as defined by California law (e.g., full payment card numbers or government IDs are handled by our vendors and are not stored by us). If this changes, we will provide any required right to limit use/disclosure.
- Direct marketing (“Shine the Light”). We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
- How to exercise your rights. Use the methods listed in Section 13 (and the “Submit a request” paragraph above). We will verify and respond within required timelines; you may use an authorized agent subject to verification.
11. DATA HOSTING AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS (U.S. STORAGE; CANADA ONBOARDING)
In Short: We currently host personal information in U.S. data centers (AWS). We do not presently store data outside the United States. If we expand hosting or service providers to other countries in the future, we will update this notice. If you are located in Canada, your information will be processed in the United States, which means it may be subject to U.S. laws while there; you have rights of access and correction as described below.
Our production environment is hosted in U.S. AWS regions (currently US East – N. Virginia). We may add additional U.S. regions as the Service grows. We do not currently store data outside the United States. (If that changes, we will update this notice and describe any additional safeguards.)
If you are located in Canada (once our Services become available there), your personal information will be used, stored, and/or accessed in the United States. When your information is located outside of Canada, it will be subject to the laws of the country in which it is held. You have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you; to exercise these rights, please use the contact information in Section 13 (How to Contact Us).
Quebec (Law 25) notes. If you are a resident of Quebec, in certain circumstances you may also have additional rights (for example, to request we cease disseminating your personal information, or to request de-indexing/re-indexing of links; or to request that computerized personal information be communicated in a commonly used technological format). We may ask for information to verify your identity before responding.
Regardless of location, we protect personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data and Services (see Section 6 – Security). We also contractually require our service providers to use comparable protections and to process personal information only to provide services to us.
