For business owners:
If you’re a business owner, visit getsealpoint.com and use the Sign Up form to request an
account. The SealPoint team will follow up with an account activation email.
For employees of a business using SealPoint:
If your company already uses SealPoint, request an account from your business owner or
account administrator. They can create a user for you within their organization’s SealPoint
account.
You can log in from any desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone using a modern web browser.
SealPoint is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you won’t find it in the App Store or Google Play. Instead, you can install it right from your browser at sealpointapp.com. On mobile, it’ll show up as an icon on your home screen. On desktop, it installs like a standalone app you can open from your desktop or start menu.
Yes! If your account has permissions to add, edit, remove, and view team members, you can invite and manage team members from the Manage Users page.
To access Manage Users, click the person icon in the top-right corner of the application, then select Manage Users.
SealPoint uses a flexible, permissions-based system. You can grant any combination of the
following permissions to each team member:
Manage Quotes – Add, edit, send, and accept quotes.
Manage Jobs – Schedule, cancel, and mark jobs as complete.
Manage Customers – Add, edit, and contact customers.
Manage Users – Add, edit, remove, and view team members.
Organization & Billing – View and edit organization settings and billing information.
This lets you customize access so each team member only sees and manages what they need for their role.
In Quotes, click New Quote (bottom‑right). Select or create the Contact, then add or choose the service address. Next, add the line items for the project. SealPoint loads a satellite image of the address so you can measure and map the area; an estimated square footage is calculated automatically. Review and adjust the quote’s details as needed, then send the quote via email, SMS, or both.
Yes. If the customer hasn’t approved it yet, open the quote, make your changes, and click Send (bottom-right corner). The customer will receive the updated quote immediately.
Once a quote is approved, go to the Jobs tab, click the approved quote, and choose a Schedule Date and Assignee. The job will then appear in the assignee’s Work Queue.
Open the quote, review the details, and click Approve (bottom-right corner). Once approved, the job will be ready to schedule from the Jobs tab.
To accept credit card payments, you’ll first need to create a Stripe account. In SealPoint, click the person icon in the top-right corner, click Organization Settings, and choose Setup Bank Account Payouts. Follow the prompts to create your Stripe account and connect your bank. When finished, Stripe will automatically connect your account to SealPoint. You can then send invoices from SealPoint, and customers can pay online via a secure payment link. After Stripe releases your funds, typically in 2 days, they’re sent straight to your connected bank account. Deposit times are subject to your bank’s processing terms and may vary.
A. For Individuals (sole proprietors, freelancers):
B. For Businesses (companies, partnerships):
From the Jobs screen, filter to Job Complete status and click the desired job. Inside the job, scroll to the bottom and click Done. You’ll see a preview of the invoice—if changes are needed, click Cancel to edit the job details. From the invoice preview, click Send to deliver it. The customer will receive a secure link to pay online.
Yes. You can resend an invoice as often as needed. Open the job, click Done to view the invoice preview, then click Send Invoice. Note: Unpaid invoices are automatically resent to the customer every 24 hours.
Online credit card payments are securely processed through Stripe. When a customer pays by card, funds are deposited into your connected bank account through Stripe. You can choose whether card processing fees are passed to the customer or absorbed by your business. For more details on processing fee controls, visit the FAQs on our Pricing page.
Processing fees only apply when a customer pays online by credit card. The fee is 4.99% of the transaction amount plus $0.30 per transaction.
You control how that fee is handled. You can pass the fee to the customer, or you can absorb it into your pricing. If you pass the fee to the customer, it is included in the customer’s online payment total. If you absorb the fee, the customer does not see a separate card fee and the fee is deducted from your payout. For more details on processing fee controls, visit the FAQs on our Pricing page.
Yes. You can collect cash or check payments outside of SealPoint and record the payment manually. To mark a job as paid, open the job, click **Actions**, and select **Mark Paid**. This sends the customer a receipt and stops automatic payment reminders.
No online credit card processing fee applies when you collect payment by cash or check.
Customers can receive notifications by email, text message, or both. SealPoint sends customer notifications for quotes, scheduled jobs, reminders, invoices, and receipts. When you add a customer, you can choose their preferred notification method so they receive updates the way that works best for them.
